TCNJ opened its Intercultural Center in October 2021 as part of a campuswide effort to create an intentionally inclusive space for all members of the college community. We wanted to have a location on campus that provided communal comfort and safety to students and to underrepresented members of the TCNJ community, including people of color and those from different socioeconomic classes as well as first-generation and LGBTQIA2s+ students.
Our staff is committed to cultivating a community that celebrates underrepresented student identities, cultures, and experiences. Since the center’s founding, we’ve hosted cultural events and conversations centered on healing and racial justice and provided a place of welcoming for historically marginalized students.
We welcome your visit; you’ll find us on the second floor of Roscoe West.
